Life Groups
At Your Place Church, your Life Group is like your extended family, always there to pray with you, encourage you, and be there for the best and hardest parts of life. It’s a place where you’re challenged to grow, where you can be the “real” you, and where you don’t have to be shy about your faults, doubts, and questions.

Our groups happen in “semesters,” with new groups launching three times a year:
February through April
June through July
September through November
You can find and join a group at our Life Group Rendezvous at the start of each semester.
We also have groups that meet year-round, so you can explore available groups and get connected anytime.

Life Groups are a place for you to grow in relationships with others, through an activity or discussion. From following a Bible study or video curriculum to having weekly dinner parties or going for group runs, there is something for everyone!

Before you join a Life Group, be sure to communicate with the leader to see if children are allowed.
Interested in Leading a Group?
You don’t have to have it all together to lead a Life Group. You just have to be willing to let God use you! Whether you lead a Bible study or build a group around something you enjoy, we’ll provide the resources and training you need to lead with confidence.
I have never led a Life Group before? What do I need to do?
All first-time leaders are required to attend Life Group Leader Training, which happens the weekend before the Life Group Rendezvous. At this class, you will hear the mission and vision behind Life Groups and get equipped with any necessary curriculum, books and more.
